I am indebted to Fred Wensing for lending me a copy of his 1965 Dara yearbook. It contains a lot of school history (and some interesting photos of the younger versions of those who, in Forms II and III, went on to complete their HSC in 1969); however, those photos are for another time. Although it was to be another three-and-a-half years before I would start at Daramalan, the school at 1965 had not changed a lot to when it was pictured in the yearbook. The following are architect's drawings of the buildings as they existed in 1965 and the proposed extensions that wouldn't be finished for another five years.

The accompanying legend read:
a—Classrooms - first building completed 1961
b—Administration block and library completed 1962
c—Classrooms and tuckshop completed 1962
d—Original Science Laboratories completed 1963
e—Residence completed 1963
f—New Science Laboratories (built with Commonwealth Assistance) 1966
g—New complete Junior School completed 1966
h—Site and preliminary impression of Assembly Hall
i—Proposed 5th and 6th Form Wing
m—Manual Arts annexe completed 1966
I won't try to explain how buildings (f), (g) and (m) appear as "existing" building in the architect's first sketch when they don't appear in the following photo of Daramalan taken from the air in the same book:

It's interesting to compare the above photo with the one below:
